I was irritated that we only were able to go for 2 days, instead of 4 --- but we still had a lot of fun.
We didn't leave until midnight on Friday b/c I had to work...so we didn't get to the mountains until about 3:30am. We played a couple of games of Uno, drank some Trump Vodka, and crashed.
We woke up and found a place to go horse back riding. Sooooo relaxing! We rode for about 1.5 hours, and it was nice b/c we were quite deep in the woods, so it wasn't hot at all. Strangely, deer aren't afraid of horses - so we saw a bunch of deer REALLY close up. That was pretty neat.
oh yeah, I got my engagement ring this weekend!!! I'm happy! This one I like (as opposed to the one he proposed with) and it fits me. Its not this big huge monstrosity that I'd never put on. It's tiny, and it's me. Yay!!!
Then we went Canoe'ing and fishing. I had a great time. I haven't gone fishing since I was 5. I caught a lot of fish, but didn't want to keep them, so I kept throwing them back in.
We cooked dinner, watched our most favorite beloved channel ever (HGTV) and hung out.
The next day, we woke up late (well he did...I had to wake up at 5am and 8am to walk the damn dog) - and we went canoe'ing again, but we ditched the canoe half way up the river and decided to swim/walk to where we wanted to fish. I was lazy as all get out, so I decided to find a rock, sit half way under water and watch Husband Fly-Fish. It was nice!
Then we cooked again, cleaned up the house and left.
It was very relaxing. I decided that once I get pregnant (no time soon! no time soon!) that I am going to spend some of the pregnancy, and at least the first 4 months after baby is born up there. I won't be distracted!!!
