~ I took my morning 25 minute shower, and crawled back in bed with Mike (on his side). He snuggled up very close to me, and then I cried for a while. I keep begging him to take off work so we can spend time together (which is so weird, because part of the reason why I left him late last year was because he always wanted to spend time with me). He's very reasonable and responsible because he knows we need that time when the baby gets here.
~ I'm just not ready. I want a few more weekends of solid sleep. Like this past weekend, I slept ALL day Sunday and the majority of Saturday. (Mike set up the flat screen tv in the bedroom, so we have now been watching movies back there....now we just need Direct TV to come in and set that up).
~ I'm very nervous about today's doctors appointment. When the put that Pessary in (the thing that holds my cervix together), and then stated that I had gestational diabetes, I started to lose weight. I was at 212, then went down to 201 (in 2 weeks). Doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that you aren't suppose to lose weight late in pregnancy (the first 2-3 months is ok, but not later on). Anyway - I dropped weight, and would only put on 1 or 2 pounds in between my 2 week visits. So at my last appointment I was 208 (last Wednesday). This past week, I have been eating like a runaway slave. Seriously. I don't care what it is, I'll eat it. If I go into this appointment and have gained a significant amount of weight - I have a feeling they are going to admit me (it has to do with the baby's growth). So, umm...today I'm a bit stressed.
~ Again I'll state, I HATE that wretched sounding Tina Marie/Faith Evans song!! Why won't they stop playing that crap on the radio? The bottom of my shoe can sing better than Tina Marie....yes I really do hate that song!
~ For Christmas I got my sister a Nintendo DS. But I only got her those "brain" games. The thing about them, you can only play for like 18 minutes a day. So I went and got her "The New Super Mario Bros". She has been asking for a Mario game that resembles the "first" one that came out. And if my memory serves me correctly, she didn't ever really play Nintendo when we were kids. She would only watch me play (which I did quite religiously). So anyway - I read a bunch of reviews and decided that this would be the game (I was NOT impressed with Mario Galaxy or the likes). I'm glad that she likes it. Sorry, I mean she LOVES it. I like doing "good sister deeds".
~ I'm kind of upset about this "going-away" party yesterday. I wanted to go, planned to go, but when I woke up yesterday, I had that eerie feeling that JD would be there -- and I didn't want to fight. I want to stay clear away from him and all costs. We all happen to be on the same CDU squad and JD use to be on midnights with the guy that was leaving. So I just had that creepy feeling. So I just went home and waited for Mike to get back from class. That pissed me off though.
~ My sister is a wonderful creature who is going to pay for me to get some braids for around the time the baby is due. She is right, my hair looks like crap!!! It's in such bad shape. Like, I need to cut it all off (I'm talkin about leaving like an inch) and start again. But, alas, I'm too lazy to do that too. ehhh....
Well that's about all of my Wednesday Randoms for the week.
